It is an interesting book of photo's of South African soldiers in the Border War from 1966-1989. Pictures were taken in South West Africa and Angola in a variety of conditions as the soldiers patrolled either on foot or by vehicle. It depicts a life of adventure and camaraderie as these young men served out there mandatory two years of National Service.
