About the Book
. . . . . . .
For Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris
aka Le Corbusier
Architect Painter Writer
Author of Toward an Architecture
1923
THE GENIUS OF LE CORBUSIER inspired me as a student at Princeton University to likewise become an architect, painter, and writer.
(And change my name―more than once!)
In this book, I present visions of Daedalus 9—my dream house—inspired by the tragic but heroic story of the mythical ancient Greek architect, inventor of the Labyrinth and Wings . . .
Through all my creative endeavors, I passionately explore the architecture of art and life, two sides of the same coin. I strive to create work that evokes emotion, heralds brave creativity, and leaves a lasting impact on my audience. Just like Le Corbusier 100 years ago in Toward an Architecture, the epic prequel to my modest tribute.

About the Creator
“GREAT ART THREADS US THROUGH A LABYRINTH— ALONG A PATH AS OLD AS TIME: DEPARTURE, TRANSFORMATION, RETURN.” Jef7rey Hildner is an award-winning architect, painter, and writer—and founder of The Architect Painter Press, TAPP’s compass: “Live Brave · Finding Neo.” Through his creative endeavors, including 12 books, he explores the architecture of art and life. And through TAPP, he publishes selected works by others that exemplify originality and share that exploration. He sometimes paints as Henry Trucks and writes as Michelangelo A. Roland Slate, aka M.A.R.S. Like the first architects—astronomer-priests, spiritual stargazers—Jef7rey seeks to grok the Architecture of the Form & Story of Reality. And give artistic expression to his vision. He draws inspiration from the tragic yet heroic ancient Greek myth about the protagonist Joseph Campbell called “the hero of the way of thought”— the architect of the Labyrinth and Wings: Daedalus.
