60 page book of abstract photographs of textures from the street, buildings, and glass The work focuses on the details of city and suburban elements, presented as flat surfaces to create a new image independent of the original subject - making combinations of the mundane into something new.

This is John Deyto's first book showcasing his abstract photography. He is a fashion and music photographer who photographed for clients such as Levi’s, Capitol Records, Jane, Detour, Surface, and RayGun Magazine. Photographed Metallica, Primus, Angela Davis, Luisito Espinosa, and a multitude of groundbreaking DJs, including The X-Ecutioners, Invisibl Skratch Piklz, and DJ Qbert.

In 2001, he exhibited “Nineteen DJ’s” at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, a collection of portraits immortalizing the world’s most influential DJs.
