Every photographic image is the result of a choice: what enters the rectangle of the frame becomes visible, legitimate, real.
What remains outside is silenced.
Photography does not lie in the traditional sense of the word — but it does impose a reduction.
It is a partial truth, a stabilised fragment of a wider world.
This book takes that fragment as its starting point.
Taking existing photographs as my starting point, I use generative artificial intelligence to reconstruct not what the image shows, but what it excludes.
Not a harmonious continuation, but a dissonant expansion.
