    About the Book

    Edit

The latest section of the author's life, coming home after growing up in Southwest Montana, leaving for a 35-year career back east, then returning. The culture shock, the dealing with early retirement, the search for his new self in this known environment that had changed somewhat over the years. It's a story about discovery - of how the world is now, who the author is becoming, right in front of his own eyes, of realization of how we never cease to grow, as long as we continue to acknowledge it and welcome it.

It's a cool inside view of life in rural Southwest Montana, which is probably 180 degrees from the urban existence most readers of the book will be experiencing.

A smattering of self-help, introspection, philosophy and spirituality. Definitely not a "must read." But an honest, forthright peek into his life, mind and heart on the matters of existence in America as a "codger" in 2010.
