About the Book
Quiberon, this great mineral ship moored at the Morbihan manages an improbable blend of seascapes. While crossing the peninsula from West to East, in only two kilometres we pass from the fury of the wild coast to the gentle beaches lined with flowering shrubs. Walking, we cross standing stones, witnesses of our ancestors who trod the same ground several thousand years ago. Perhaps these ancestors also derived their livelihood from the ocean, leaving small ports in the early morning as the modern fishermen do today - but for how long still?
This book presents some aspects of Quiberon as I've experienced it for a short stay in spring 2011. It is a selection of images with no ambition other than sharing the emotion and love of this beautiful region of Brittany, my Brittany.
