Sometimes, when we see something unusual, it sparks our imagination and invites us to create. That’s how this story began. Is a tawny an owl, or something else entirely? What started as a moment of curiosity became drawings, then words, and finally a story waiting to be shared. Animals are special—each one wonderfully unique. This little book grew from a real experience I had long ago with a very special animal, one that stayed with me in memory and in heart.
